Before you call
Short answers. If the unit is blowing warm or dripping, turn it off and use the number. The rest can wait until we’re on the roof.
What should I do if the AC stops cooling?
Turn it off. Don’t keep running a unit that blows warm air — that can cook the compressor. Call. Tell us the make if you can see it on the indoor unit, and whether water is dripping.
Is it gas, or is it broken?
Sometimes it’s gas. Sometimes it’s a drain, a board, or a fan. We don’t sell a bottle of gas over the phone. We look, then we say.
How fast can you get here?
Same day when we’re on this side of the island and it’s an emergency. If the day is already full, we give you a real window, not a fake one.
Do you provide emergency AC repair in Malta?
Yes. If it stopped cooling in St Paul’s Bay, Bugibba, Qawra or nearby, call. We come to the flat or the roof. We don’t ask you to drag a hot indoor unit to a shop.
How much does AC repair cost in Malta?
It depends what failed. We don’t quote a gas bottle over the phone. We diagnose on site, then you get a price before we start the repair.
Do you repair all AC brands?
Most split systems we see in northern Malta — wall units and roof condensers. Tell us the make on the indoor unit if you can read it. If we can’t fix that model, we say so.
Can you repair an AC that is leaking water?
Yes. Usually a blocked drain or a condensate pipe. We clear the line and stop the stain on the wall. Don’t keep running it overnight if water is coming out.
Why is my AC blowing warm air?
Low gas, a dirty filter, a failed outdoor fan, or a board. Warm air in August is the usual call. Turn it off and ring us.
How often should an AC be serviced?
Once a year before the heat, or twice if it runs all summer. Filter, drain, and a look at the gas. Cheaper than a dead compressor in August.
Do you refill AC gas?
If it’s empty because of a leak, a refill alone comes back. We find the leak when we can, then charge the system. We don’t top up a hole.
Do you service AC units in Bugibba and Qawra?
Yes. Bugibba, Qawra, Xemxija, Mellieħa and Burmarrad as well as St Paul’s Bay. Same van, same call.
Do you provide AC installation?
New split on the wall, condenser on the roof. We take the old one away. Call with the rooms and we’ll tell you if we can do that job this week.
How long does an AC service take?
A straightforward service is usually under two hours. A leak hunt or a replacement runs longer. We tell you when we see the unit.
